Walmart offers recipe ideas from old fashioned gingerbread to butter toffee bars.

  • Fantasy Fudge – recipes makes 80 pieces – 3 separate gifts
  • Old Fashioned Gingerbread – recipe makes 12 pieces – 3 separate gifts
  • Snickerdoodles – recipe makes 60 pieces – 2 separate gifts
  • Butter Toffee Bars – recipe makes 48 bars – 4 separate gifts
  • Jolly Snowmen Faces – recipe makes 24 cookies – 2 separate gifts
  • Chocolate Holiday Bears – recipe makes 16 cookies – 2 separate gifts

 

Butter Toffee Bars

What you will need:

• 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
• 1 cup butter, softened
• 1 large egg yolk
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup Nestlé® Toll House® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
• 1/2 cup English toffee-flavored candy chips

What you will need to do:

Preheat oven to 325° F.
Beat sugar and butter in a large mixer bowl until creamy. Add egg
yolk; beat well. Beat in flour. Press evenly onto bottom of ungreased
15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan.

Bake for 22 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned and center is still
slightly soft. Sprinkle with chocolate chips (*NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE®
Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels can be used instead).

Let stand for
3 minutes or until morsels are shiny; spread evenly.

Sprinkle with
toffee chips (**you can also use 1 crushed English toffee candy bar).
Cool for 1 hour; cut into bars with sharp knife while slightly warm.
