Need help creating your weekly menu plan?

Each week I look at the Safeway ad and create the following meals: (click here for the weekly menu planner sheet)

  • Kids choice
  • Slow Cooker
  • Meaty (Turkey, Pork Chop, Chicken, Beef, etc)
  • Pasta
  • Breakfast (yes for dinner!)
  • Really Simple night (formerly known as soup night) – soup, hot dogs, pizza, chicken nuggets, fish sticks, mac & cheese, etc..
  • Casserole or Oven Dish

Once I have one of these meals I take a look at my calendar and see what fits best with our schedule. For example really busy days I would use a slow cooker meal or the Really Simple Dinner.
