Relationships that Hurt

5 Sep

You know the ones – the manipulator, the victim, the dependent, the control freak. Wether they are co-workers, friends or family these negative people drain you.

What do you do?

1. Pray for emotional and mental health

2. Carefully and sensitively encourage the person to seek professional help. You can say something like:

You seem to be really ___________(depressed, angry, etc). Have you thought about talking about it with someone?

Matthew 5:16 States that we need to be a beacon of light by sharing God’s love.

3. Do not allow these relationships effect YOUR attitude
