1. Pray

2. Gather all the facts

3. Accept that change is coming before it arrives (if possible)

4. Focus on things that are steady and certain

5. Keep an open mind and open communication

6. Conduct a private attitude check

7. Incorporate the change into your normal routine

I read it takes 28 days of doing something to create a habit.

    You know, I hadn’t thought about #6 – Conduct a private attitude check – yet that can be the very thing that stops forward progress! Like dieting – you know you have to eat right and exercise, drink plenty of water and take a good Omega-3 supplement – but if you’re thinking, “Whine, whine, this is too much trouble” – it will blow the entire process! Good posting!
