Passage: Numbers 23:19-23

Additional Reading Scripture:

Psalm 12:6 – And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times.

Hebrews 6:18 -God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. Promises, Elisa asks how are we to read the promises of the Bible? She answers, with an eye to the One who makes them. Our God is not in a position to lie. His promises will not be broken. This is a hard truth for some to swallow. When broken promises and lies are in our minds and a part of our past. We must trust and know that He will not to do the same.Elisa prays:

Dear Lord, please give my children a glimpse of your complete faithfulness. Help
them understand that you are not like others they may meet in life. You are not even like their parents. Where others will disappoint these children and even fail
them, you and your Word will be eternally faithful. Give my
children the courage to risk belief in what will last: you and your character.

Blessings to you and yours until tomorrow
